Today, I have something new to offer. I made a set of 20 photo clipping masks, and I am sharing 3 of them with you today. The full bundle can be downloaded on either Etsy or Creative Market.

To use these transparent png files in Photoshop:

1. Place your photo above the mask, right-click on your photo and choose “create clipping mask”.

2. Transform and move your photo until you are satisfied with the look.

3. You can also place the mask above a texture or background, as shown in the example photo, prior to placing your photo.

This Lightroom preset will give a high-contrast b&w look with deep blacks. It’s fully adjustable, so if you find that it is too dark for some photos you can lighten up the blacks and/or shadows. You can also slide the red and orange to the right in the b&w color mixer to lighten up lips and skin.

This Photoshop action will turn any photo high-contrast b&w, with deep blacks. It’s fully adjustable, so if you find that it is too dark on some photos you can adjust the curves. Reds have been deepened in the b&w conversion as well, which can be adjusted.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and so forth!

I’ve been working on these 10 Photoshop actions for several days with the intention of having them ready for you before Christmas. I made it.

These Photoshop actions were mostly created with dull or cool toned photos. Since every photo is different, some of these actions will be a bit too bright or warm for some photos. However, they are fully adjustable.

This Lightroom preset will brighten, warm and bring out detail in an overcast portrait. Once the preset is applied you can make any edits that you wish.

The example photo is a portrait of my daughter, taken on an overcast day with no flash.

This Lightroom preset will help to correct snapshots taken in dark, warm indoor light such as in restaurants.

The example image is a quick snapshot I took of my son and his fiancé in a restaurant. It’s not exactly a masterpiece in the after shot, but at least it’s a decently preserved memory of a family moment.

You can of course make any needed adjustments after applying the preset.
